For this 25g fruit paste, there are 21g of carbohydrates, including 16g of simple sugars (the ones that give you a boost). Aptonia therefore advises you to bite into your first bar after 30 minutes of activity, or two per hour (or one + one gel / one bar), and in addition to an isotonic drink.
